And now that you can make almond butter you are a mere two or three ingredients away from proper, glorious, healthy Nutella!

Total time: 15 mins

1 bag of almonds
1 bag of hazelnuts
1 tbsp raw criollo cacao powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
Pinch of salt (optional)


Place nuts and salt in a food processor with the blade attachment. Pulse until a fine consistency. Then keep processing whilst continually using a spatula to push down the sides. Pulse until the nuts become dough like and then eventually thick and creamy. Add coconut oil and the cacao and process until fully combined.

Store in a clean jar.
