Free'ist Sugar Free Competition!

Hello Sweet Peas!

I am too excited to reveal details of my competition today. The sugar free brand Free'ist have kindly stepped up to offer one lucky person a huuuge hamper of sugar free goodies!

Yes, that is my bed.

The hamper includes 4 BOXES OF COOKIES! 4 bars of chocolate, 3 jars of sugar free fruit jams and some chocolate wafers! *dribbles*

The competition will run throughout my 30 recipes in 30 days and I will choose a winner using a random number generator!

I'll be sharing some recipes using the products too so look out for that! :D
You could come up with all sorts of exciting ways to use surplus cookies! Crumbled as a topping onto my banana loaf maybe? Use the cookies as cute miniature cheesecake bases? Smother yourself in jam??

I must point out that these products are sugar free only (they use the sweetener maltitol in place, which is a sugar alcohol, used to lessen the effects of blood glucose) and therefore the cookies are made with wheat/gluten/dairy products and some contain nuts! If you're good with that and want to try them, read on!

Maltitol is used because it is nearly as sweet as sugar, but has half the caloric value. It is used in lots of sugarless sweets and products for diabetics. Please do your own reading to make sure you are happy with trying these products. I took my jams and chocolates to my nutritionist to ask for advice beforehand, so always seek your own help if you are confused.

To be entered into the competition, please 'like' my Sugar Free Sweet Pea Facebook page and then leave a comment on this blogpost telling me what you would do with all these goodies! I'd love some inventive new ideas! Of course it would also be totally fine if you are super honest about just hiding them in the house and eating them in your onesie with the lights out. Whatever, I mean, it's your decision.

These photos really don't do the vastness of this hamper justice! Seriously, it is huge!

So get liking! Get thinking! I can't wait to read what you come up with and who knows, maybe I can make the best idea into a reality for this blog!

  1. Great competition! With the jams, you could make some kind of grain and sugar free jam tarts maybe? You could use the cookies as a slightly less unhealthy cheesecake base too!

  17. I would share them with my workmates. So many of us are trying to lose weight, but it's really hard some days you really do need that piece of cake with your afternoon coffee or jam on your morning toast. These would make us feel less guilty and hopefully a lot happier at the weekly weigh in.
